Add Balkans post-Byzantine fragmentation to 1525 checkpoint
- Serbia: independent Orthodox kingdom
- Dalmatia: Venice expands coastal control
- Bulgaria: autonomous Great Khanate vassal
- Greece: fragmented (Venetian coasts, inland principalities)
- Albania: mountain polities, de facto independent
- Bosnia: small state in Serbian/Bulgarian sphere
- Constantinople: neutral trade city-state
- Key difference: NO Islamization of Balkans (no Ottoman conquest)
